Yardley Man Admits To Sexually Assaulting Sisters At Day Care

A Yardley man pleaded guilty recently to sexually assaulting two sisters when they were children.

Harry Lawrence pleaded guilty to multiple charges including aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors before Bucks County Judge Jeffrey L. Finley.

According to online court records, Lawrence’s sentencing has been deferred pending an evaluation by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender’s Assessment Board.

Lawrence, according to court papers, sexually assaulted the two elementary school-aged sisters in the basement of his ex-wife’s now-closed home day care located on Vernon Road in Falls Township.

“I was touched inappropriately by Harry Lawrence,” the one sister, who is now 22, testified at a preliminary hearing. “I could feel [Lawrence’s] eyes raking over me.”

Both girls testified in court that Lawrence touched their vagina during separate encounters. They also testified that Lawrence was seclude them from the other children at the day care.

In January, Lawrence pleaded guilty to stealing more than $55,000 in Social Security benefits meant for his own daughter.

Lawrence remains in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
