Police activity at the East Lincoln Highway I-95 overpass Wednesday was related to a road rage call, according to authorities.
A motorist in a Ford F-150 called 9-1-1 Wednesday afternoon to report an alleged road rage incident involving a driver of a Fiat who may have had a firearm. The incident reportedly happened along East Lincoln Highway in Middleltown.

After receiving a dispatch, a quick-acting Bucks County sheriff’s deputy saw the Fiat and made a traffic stop along with Middletown patrol officers. The car was stopped and the driver was questioned, police said.
The operator of the Ford told police via phone that he was already out of the area by the time they reached him and he wanted to pursue no further action against the Fiat driver, police said.
The driver of the Fiat did have a firearm that was legally being carried, and he was released without any charges being filed, police said.

Aside from the Ford driver, no witnesses to the alleged incident were found.
