A man was stabbed after police say he and another man intervened in a fight between two adult men and two “little girls.”
Bristol Township police were called to the 600 block of Winder Drive around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday evening. A caller told dispatchers there was a stabbing at the location.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two males intervened after they spotted two other men arguing with two “little girls.” After intervening, the four men began arguing. One of the men who was spotted arguing with the girls – Christopher James Filemyr, 24, of Bristol Township – pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed one of the subjects who broke up the original argument, police said.
Lt. Terry Hughes said Filemyr ran from the scene after the stabbing and was later taken into custody.
Court papers state Filemyr admitted to swinging a pocket knife around four times during the altercation.

The man who was stabbed suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his torso and right forearm, according to court papers.
Filemyr, according to court records, is a familiar face to Bristol Township law enforcement and has been arrested in the past for drug-related offenses. He was in court earlier in March for violating probation in connection with a 2015 possession of drug paraphernalia case.

Hughes said he was not sure the age of the “little girls” described in court papers.
Filemyr was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and reckless endangerment. He was sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $150,000 bail.
