The local resident who started the Fear and Loathing in Levittown 2 satire page is a self-described loser, with a lot of free time on his hands. He also has a twisted sense of humor, so he’ll appreciate the euphemism in the first sentence.

He’s a Pennsbury High School graduate and former military brat, who lives in what he describes as “the shi**est apartment complex in Fairless Hills,” and he looks pretty “Levittowny”.

“I look pretty white trash,” he said while laughing hysterically. “I got a lot of material for memes by doing a s**tย ton of drugs. My ex used to work at a ti**y bar and was an addict. That s**t is a goldmine for memes.”

He’s not a nerdy guy, who sits atop his palace in Yardley, boasting about how much better he is than the Levittown community he makes fun of, which many assume. He’s part of the worst levels of the population he jokes about and he thinks that’s hilarious.

“I was that Levittown loser with my hat to the side riding around in my Toyota with the rims and the music blasting. I was that a**hole. That’s why I’m allowed to make fun of those people. I was that person,” he said. “There’s nothing like doing an eight-ball with a single mom stripper and listening to her talk about her s**tty life.”

Hunter, a psedonym he goes by to stay anonymous, said he only lived in Levittown for a little while, beforeย movingย to Morrsville and Fairless Hills. “I only lived there for two years, but trust me, it was long enough to get enough stuff to make fun of.”

Hunter said he’s clean from drugs now, but gets most of the material and ideas for his memes by frequenting Levittown bars and listening to other people’s conversations – which is good reason for him to keep his identity a secret. “This guy was talkingย s**t about the page, and I was just agreeing with him saying like ‘yeah f**k that guy Hunter’, then my friend said to the guy ‘yo dude, this is the guy that runs it!’. Then he wanted to kick my a**, so we go outside to handle it and the guy just hugs me.”

He said between the 26,000 likes on his Facebook page and the 27,000 likes on the LevittownNow.com Facebook page, the two pages are “bringing the community together just to s**t talk.” Even saying he loves using arrests featured on LevittownNow.com as inspiration for his page.

Although Hunter says he likes to spread the insults evenly amongst everyone, it cracks him up when people from Croydon like the page. “They seem to like the page more than everybody and they always want to see Croydon memes,” he said while laughing. “Even people from Croydon in Englandย say ‘your Croydon is like our Croydon’. I think people from Croyon like the memes because no one gives a s**t about them unless it’s making fun of them on the page. It’s like they are on the f**kin’ map now.”

Running the page hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Hunter. Facebook has shut his page down multiple times and he’s received death threats and threats of litigation.

“I read the Facebook rules to make sure I comply; it’s just when you tell people the truth it f**ks up their s**t,” said Hunter. “Like I don’t put pictures of anyone from here in the memes because I don’t want to insult anyone directly.”

After contributing some Levittown-style memes to the Philly Offensive Facebook page, Hunter’s friend suggested he make one entirely geared around Levittown. “Within a weekend it had like 500 likes, within the week it was 10,000,” he said. “People like to see references they know about, I think the originality of it is a huge reason why people like it. But half the s**t I just steal from someone else and replace ‘wh*re’ with ‘Levittown wh*re’ and people love it.”

Hunter, who says he comes up with about 10 memes a day, says he does most of it on company time. “Even my boss likes the page,” he said while laughing. “Let’s just say I do ‘dispatch’ for a company who doesn’t want to be associated with me. It’s a job where I sit down and I have a lot of f**king free time.”

He may spend a lot of time during the week making fun of other people, but he’s never against making fun of himself.

“You know how bad it is when I make a Croydon meme and I mess up the grammar doing it? But hey, I’m from here too,” he said. “There’s even a page dedicated to hating on me, but I like all their s**t and I gotta say it’s my favorite page right now. I like the feedback. I kind of want to make a ‘F**k Fear and Loathing Levittown’ page just to have control of the opposition so I’d have both demographics, I’m kinda an a**hole like that.”

Hunter said he’s even thought about creating a ‘Levittown Later’ page, re-writing funny Levittown Now news stories. “That’s f**kin’ gold,” he said.

The next project for the page? Getting locals involved in funny videos that make light of the area even more.

“I really want to do a mash-up of the Oxford Valley Mall stolen valor guy and the Burger King (BK) bloods. Like real bloods see a fake BK Blood and they’re like ‘hey! you’re not a real blood,’ that’d be f**kin’ awesome.”

It’s been nearly a year since Hunter began the page and he’s showing no signs of letting up.

“It hasn’t gotten boring yet, but maybe that’s only because I’ve been doing it a year.”
