On Friday, only a small portion of the concrete structure remained, with buckets full of debris were loaded into a dump truck. Workers sprayed water near the demolition site to clear dust.
Demolition crews took down the 180-foot-tall smokestack first and then moved on to the main structure.
Grundy Commons Complex owner Fred Baumgarten took down the powerhouse to make way for a parking lot.
