A Levittown man was arrested after an all-day standoff Monday in Bensalem.
Authorities told LevittownNow.com that 51-year-old Russell Treloar of Bristol Township’s Levittown section barricaded himself inside room C-18 at the Mall Motel on Old Lincoln Highway around 7:50 a.m. Treloar reportedly refused to listen to police commands to surrender.

Police said Treloar fired a handgun multiple times before being taken into custody by Bensalem SWAT operators. The Bucks County Courier Times reported that police used non-lethal bullet and a taser to arrest the 51 year old.
The standoff ended shortly before 4 p.m.
Treloar was treated for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the standoff, police said.

Old Lincoln Highway was closed during the while police dealt with the standoff. As of 5 p.m., the road has reopened to traffic.
Treloar, according to a warrant, will be charged with reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, and related offenses later Monday evening.
