Playground Closed Due To Sinkhole

The Municipal Park playground in Bristol Township has been temporarily closed after the discovery of a sinkhole in the play area.

Bristol Township Public Works Department crews working to fix the problem at the park at 2501 Bath Road.

The playground will remain closed to the public until the area is deemed secure, officials said.

While the playground is blocked off, the adjacent Municipal Park Spray Park remains open.

The spray park will continue to run on its standard schedule of being open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for visitors looking to cool off.

Officials shared appreciation for the community’s patience and cooperation during the unexpected closure.
