A expansion to Aqua water filtration plan is set to proceed in Bristol Borough.
The nearly 1,000-square-footย expansion at the filtration plant on Radcliffe Street will build upon an already established building and will add a fifth filter so that filters at the facility can be cleaned and maintained without a drop in water output.

A special meeting for residents was held before Monday night’s regular council meeting. Residents in the immediate vicinity of the project were invited to come and speak their mind on the project. Representatives from Aqua and the project were present to answer questions.
Some residents are worried about their view of the river, while others are wary of complications that come with construction and regular deliveries to the facility by way of tractor trailers.
By the end of the meeting, Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe noted that council has no way to block the progression of the project, but urged anyone with concerns to reach out to James Dillon, the borough manager.
