Firefighters extinguished a small fire in an apartment in Bristol Borough Sunday evening.
Crews from America Hose, Hook & Ladder Company, Bristol Consolidated Fire Company, Bristol Fire Company No. 1, Goodwill Hose Company and Third District Fire Company all responded to the 300 block of Mill Street for the fire.

Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack said the small blaze was discovered in the rear corner of the apartment’s roof. The area was opened up and the flames were extinguished.
A roofer had been working in the same area earlier in the day, Slack said.
No injuries were reported.
