An 18-year-old Penndel man is accused of selling brownies laced with marijuana to a juvenile who resold them at a middle school.
Jacob Francisco, who police say was attending Bensalem High School, was charged with possession with intent deliver, corruption of minors, and other related offenses Monday afternoon.

According to Bensalem police, investigators became aware on Friday that marijuana laced brownies were found at Shafer Middle School. Further investigating discovered the drug brownies were sold to a minor student by Francisco. The minor student resold the laced brownies to middle schoolers last Thursday.
Francisco reportedly admitted to selling five brownies laced with marijuana.
Police said they have identified several students who purchased and/or ingested the marijuana-laced brownies. The investigation is ongoing.

It was not immediately clear why a Penndel resident would be attending Bensalem High School.
District Justice Michael Gallagher arraigned Francisco Monday afternoon. The 18-year-old was sent to prison on 10 percent of $100,000.

A preliminary hearing on the case is set for March 22.
