American Pie: Pop Culture of the 50s & 60s is the most recent of a list of exhibits that has been held at the arts center since last summer. According to Bill Pezza, president of the Centre for the Arts, the changing exhibits help to bring in a constant flow of patrons to the Mill Street art gallery and event space. The art shows have drawn hundreds of visitors from both in the borough and outside.
“I think we want to have a gallery with a lot of vitality,” Pezza explained, commenting on the constantly changing exhibits.
During the special remarks, Pezza also announced that the Centre for the Arts will begin offering spaces for acting, music and art instruction.

American Pie: Pop Culture of the 50s & 60s runs at the nonprofit arts center that opened last year until March 10.
The event was sponsored by three local organizations: the Bristol Cultural Historical Foundation, the Grundy Library and the Silver Lake Nature Center. The three organizations are also gearing up to celebrate the last 50 years in the borough. The library and nature center are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.
