The driver of a white Cadillac Escalade that was spotted near the scene of a Middletown business burglary fled Pennsylvania State Police troopers earlier this week.
After being alerted to the vehicle after the burglary in Middletown, state police spotted the Escalade on I-95 in Bensalem. When a trooper tried to stop the SUV, the driver failed to pull over and kept driving, according to a press release.

The Escalade was lost after the trooper chasing the vehicle drove off the road and into a fence at James and Orthodox streets in Philadelphia. The trooper received minor injuries in the crash, state police said.
Efforts to identify the driver are ongoing, according to authorities.
