Police allege in court documents thatย on Wednesday December 23, shortly after 11 p.m., they responded to Granite Road in the Bristol Township’s Goldenridge section for reports that an unknown male had entered the residence and locked himself in the bathroom.
When police arrived, they announced themselves, instructing the defendant to exit the locked door. When he refused, they opened the door using a key provided to them by the homeowner, according to a probable cause affidavit.
While the man, later identified as Tilakdharry, was being handcuffed by police, he began to pull away. He used his body weight and legs before officers effectively secured him, police said.

On the walk from the Goldenridge home to the officer’s patrol car, Tilakdharry refused to move forward before leaning his body forward and thrusting his head and body backward, head butting an officer in the face. Tilakdharry’s actions caused bruising and swelling to the officer’s face, court documents state.
Police did not state why Tilakdharry was inside the homeowner’s bathroom.
