Women Injured In Saturday Evening Crash

Two women sustained minor injuries in a crash in Hulmeville Borough Saturday evening.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection on Main Street and Trenton Avenue when a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by 40-year-old Levittown woman turned directly in front of a 2015 Honda Civic that was driven by a 60-year-old Fairless Hills woman, according to Pennsylvania State Police troopers who responded to the wreck.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and both drivers were transported by the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown with minor injuries, state police said.

The 40-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Toyota will be ticketed, troopers said.

The intersection was blocked for about 45 minutes.
