Woodrow Wilson’s class of 1965 took time to honor America’s veterans on Tuesday during a short ceremony at Harry S. Truman High School on Green Lane in Bristol Township.
Community members gathered during the afternoon to help recognize about 40 members of the high school class who went on to serve in various branches of the armed forces upon graduation. The reunion class presented a commemorative plaque which will remain on display in the high school’s showcase.

The reunion students who graduated from Woodrow Wilson before it became Truman in the 1980s, presented the plaque to Vietnam veteran Michael Hoffman and Truman Principal Lyndell Davis. Hoffman represents about 10 percent of the classes population who went on to serve the United States through the military.
Members of the high schoolโs Key Club, a service organization, alsoย participated in the event.
