While currently awaiting a preliminary hearing on several child pornography charges, a 27-year-old resident from Bristol Township’s Levittown section is now facing a second set of serious charges.
Samuel A. Kaye was arrested by Tullytown police Tuesday evening after an extensive investigation by borough officers and Bucks County Detectives.

Kaye was arrested in September after police allege a Levittown cell phone repair technician told investigators he saw sexual images of children who appeared to be 10 years old and younger on the 27 year old’s phone after it was brought in for a repair. During an initial interview at police headquarters on Main Street, Kaye said he was “turned on” by images of naked underage girls, according to court papers.
He was arraigned in September on 2 counts of child pornography and single counts of dissemination of photos/film of child sex acts and criminal use of a communication facility. He was released from prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
Tullytown police and county detectives continued to investigate Kaye’s phone and discovered he would talk to what appeared to be underage girls. He would ask them sexually explicit questions and for naked photos, investigators said.

“In one conversation, Kaye asks one girl a very sexually explicit question, to which the girl responded, “you know I’m 14 right,” according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Tullytown Sgt. Phil Kulan and Bucks County Detective Thomas Thiel. Kaye allegedly responded to the girl’s message with, “ya, so.”
One teenage girl told police she met Kaye on an online app and performed sex acts on him at various times while she was between the ages of 13 and 15. The girl claimed Kaye lied to make himself seem younger.
Police said they suspect there might be more young girls that spoke with Kaye before his second arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Kulan or Officer Kyle Heasley at 215-945-0999 ext. 508.

Kaye was arraigned on new charges of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 16 years old, indecent assault on a person less than 16 years old and unlawful contact with a minor. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County lockup on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
