Members of the Bristol Township Police Department and Levittown Fire Company No. 2 squared off Sunday in a taco eating contest.
The contest involved each team member finishing a roughly 2 pound Taco Gigante at the Margaritas on Oxford Valley Road in Middletown.

After just over 11 minutes of stuffing their faces, the Bristol Township Police Department team won the contest, but the volunteer firefighters were not far behind.
In the end, Margaritas donated $350 to the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, which helps pay for schooling for the children of fallen Bucks County first responders. Additional funds were donated as some diners donated a portion of their checks to the nonprofit.
This wasn’t the first time Bristol Township police and Levittown Fire Company No. 2 members squared off. In 2014, the two teams battled during a hoagie making contest at the Wawa on New Falls Road.
