Residents of Bristol Township are invited to a meet and greet style event with members of the township’s Pro-Team.
The council picnic will take place Saturday October 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Indian Creek Pavilion located off Emilie Road. The event is designed for a picnic lunch and conversation.

Councilman Joe Glasson of Levittown and Vice President Amber Longhitano of Croydon, both four yet veterans of the township council, will be joined by Councilman Murray Bailey Jr. of Bristol, who joined the board earlier this year following the death of then council president Bob Lewis. Lewis passed away of natural causes this past March at the age of 76.
Glasson and Longhitano are up for re-election this November, while Bailey will run for the second time after having been appointed to his current seat.
The team, which holds a majority on the council board, has ran behind the idea of moving the township forward. Council President Craig Bowen, Councilman Troy Brennan and Councilwoman Cynthia Murphy are also members of the Pro-Team.
