UPDATE: Former Levittown Man Charged With Killing Girlfriend

Authorities in Bensalem were investigating a “suspicious” death inside an apartment not far from the Bristol Township border Monday.

Lt. Bill McVey said officers were called to the Berkeley Trace Apartments on Bensalem Boulevard at 10:09 a.m. and found a 25-year-old woman deceased inside a second-floor apartment 106.

A “person of interest” was being interviewed by investigators as of 11:30 a.m., McVey told LevittownNow.com. He added the person being questioned was discovered at the apartment when they were taken in for questioning.

The woman’s name and hometown were not immediately released.

Several neighbors milled about while officers, county detectives and the coroner’s office worked the scene.
