The roadway will be paved as part of a $1 million dollar improvement plan approved by the Middletown Board of Supervisors last month.

Crews will completely rebuild the roadway. A reduction to one of the steep hills, new shoulders, updated drainage and the addition of retaining walls will be part of the project, officials said.
Work on the roadway reconstruction is expected to start by mid-August and be completed by mid-October, officials said.
The road will be closed to all traffic, aside from local traffic, during the work.
