A Philadelphia graphic designer has won a membership to Pinewood Pool for creating a logo for Falls Township’s “Live Here, Spend Here” campaign.
David Stencler of Stencler Design Ltd., was chosen from a pool of 19 submissions, according to Board of Supervisors Chairman Bob Harvie. “It was kind of tough to narrow it down,” Harvie said.

The supervisors pared down the pool to four and ultimately chose Stencler’s logo design as the winning entry. He was announced as winner during the board’s meeting this week.
The color scheme of the logo which will be changed to match the township’s colors, will be used on campaign signs and distributed to local Falls businesses to help promote the initative. The message is simple: “If you live in Falls, spend in Falls,” Harvie said.
The township, which launched the Live Here, Spend Here campaign over the spring, has spotlighted one local business so far in it’s efforts to encourage residents to spend money locally. The township plans to spotlight other local businesses in short videos on the township’s website, cable access channel and social media pages in the months to come.
