Those in love with coffee and other specialty drinks from Starbucks may soon have a new location to visit.
The coffee company and retail store has been eyeing up the property at 1501 East Lincoln Highway in Middle town Township, a space formerly used for parking places at the now defunct The Dump furniture outlet. While there has been no formal application submitted to Middletown officials as of publishing time, Starbucks representatives are working to prepare plans for land development at the site, according to Pat Duffy, the director of zoning, planning and engineering for the township.

Back in May the company was heard before the Middletown Zoning Board in an effort to seek exceptions that would allow a drive thru and hours of operation for the site to be from 5 a.m. to midnight.
The proposed Starbucks site is nearly an acre in size and would be located within the 12 acre shopping center that is also now home to a Floor & Decor and a Bobs Furniture Store.
A representative from Starbucks was not immediately available for comment.
