Holliday, who said she has been coming to see other photographer’s work at the exhibition every year, said she finally got the courage to enter this year. Her courage paid off when both of her photos, ‘Loss for Words,’ and ‘Material Culture,’ were accepted into the prestigious show. Over 460 photographs were entered into the contest this year, according to organizers.

Awards for Best in Show, Best Body of Work, Patron’s Awards, Judges Award, and the Spencer Saunders Award were distributed. Kott’s photograph, ‘Missing Parts,’ joined entrants from Clinton, Elkins Park and Yardely as winners of the Patron’s Award.
The Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The mill, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located at 2619 River Road in New Hope.ย Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for senior citizens and students; and free for Phillips Mill Community Association members.
