Bucks County Community College, which is committed to helping those who served our country reach their educational goals, is holding a Veterans Resource and Information Session fromย 6 to 8 p.m.ย Wednesday,ย June 17, at the Lower Bucks Campus.

The event is a unique opportunity to meet those in the community who are available to serve veterans.ย There will also be free gifts, music, food, and door prizes for those who attend.
Veterans can learn about academic programs, career training in allied health or public safety, and workforce development training programs available at Bucks. College staff will also offer information about student services, including student life, counseling, accessibility services, and the veterans student club.ย Tours of the Lower Bucks Campus will include a stop at the Stars and Stripes Lounge, a comfortable spot for veterans to gather with other vets.
Several community organizations will offer information specific to vets, including Career Link PA; Lower Bucks Hospital, which will be offering free blood pressure screenings; the Bucks County Vet Center; and Heroes Path, which provides access to the full range of services, opportunities, programs and supports for a successful transition from military service to civilian employment and family life.
