Crews will work the next two months to repair the Route 13 (Bristol Pike) bridge by replacing the deteriorated concrete beams; reinforcing the retaining walls; and repairing the support abutments and drainage system.

On Monday, May 18, the Route 13 (Bristol Pike) north ramp to Mill Creek Road will be closed and detoured. The posted detour will useย Route 13 north (Bristol Pike), Penn Valley Road andย Route 13 south (Bristol Pike).

During construction, traffic will be maintained onย Route 13 (Bristol Pike), however there may be periodic lane restrictions or shoulder closures. The bridge is scheduled to be completed in late July.

The other two are the bridges that carry Chinquapin Road over Iron Works Creek in Northampton Township, and Dark Hollow Road bridge over Tohickon Creek in Tinicum Township.
