A Bristol Borough man faces additional harassment charges following phone calls he allegedly made to a woman’s shelter.

Moments after Fred Stiltner Jr., 57, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on four counts of misdemeanor terroristic threats and harassment before a district judge, he was arraigned on two harassment charges out of Doylestown. Stiltner’s attorney said his client was going to apply for a first-time offender program in the first case.

The 57 year old was charged by Bucks County Detectives in March with leaving threatening phone messages for Bristol Police Chief Arnold Porter along with officers Sgt. Pete Faight, Alan Hankinson, Elifa Soto and Dean Johnson. In one of the messages, Stiltner reportedly told officers to “kiss my goat smelling ass.” Detectives noted in court papers that they believe the messages were made following domestic incidents between Stiltner and his wife.

In the latest case, Stiltner is accused of calling the phone number for A Woman’s Place, a domestic violence victims organization.

In the calls, asked to speak to his wife and told staff she had just called him, according to court papers.

“I know where you are and I am going to come get her,” Stiltner reportedly said in a call.

After another call, staff said they were worried about Stiltner, according to court papers.

During the waiver of the hearing, Stiltner’s wife sat in court and appeared to leave with him.

District Court Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr. arraigned Stiltner on the new charges and set bail at $15,000 unsecured with the condition that he not contact A Woman’s Place. Stilner was already out on $150,000 unsecured bail for the previous case.
