Assistant Director of the Parks and Recreation Department Jessica Fox along with Driftwood Water Adventures Owners Pat Mulhern and Robert Moyer presented a contract to the board of supervisors on Tuesday evening detailing their plans for the upcoming summer season.

According to Mulhern and Moyer, the plan aligns with the same 2014 contract that was previously signed with the township. The plan includes kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals, including stand up paddle board yoga and paddle fitness classes at the Falls Township Community Park. Programs will also be offered on behalf of Parks and Recreation at the Pinewood Pool including water safety, boating safety, scuba/snorkeling safety and demos.
According to Fox, the services have been provided to the township at little to no cost.
The Board of Supervisors, who originally planned to sign a one year deal with Driftwood Water Adventures, added language to the contract allowing the contract to roll over each year once programming is determined.
