A man wanted in connection with an alleged armed robbery is considered “armed and dangerous,” Falls Township police warn.
James Leecaris Bellamy, 26, of Trenton, is wanted for allegedly committing an armed robbery at the Country House Motel in the 900 block of Lincoln Highway over the weekend.

Officers from Falls responded to the motel at about 2 a.m. Saturday after the two employees freed themselves from a closet Bellamy blocked them in following the robbery, according to an arrest warrant.
The employees told investigators they confronted Bellamy after they saw him removing a generator from the motel. The 26 year old then pulled a gun on the employees and forced them into the office, where he took $675 cash and an iPhone, police said.
Bellamy is also accused of striking one of the employees in the face with the butt of his gun.

The man who rented a motel room with Bellamy approached officers at the scene and said the 26 year old stole his dark blue 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, the arrest warrant states.
The stolen vehicle was returned to the man after Morrisville police found two women driving it across from Trenton around 4 a.m. Saturday, police said. The women reportedly told them Bellamy sent them back to pick up the man who reported the car stolen.

One of the motel employees and the man who had his car stolen confirmed Bellamy was the suspect, according to officials.
“This subject is considered armed and dangerous,” Lt. Hank Ward told LevittownNow.com.
When arrested, Bellamy faces charges of robbery, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, unauthorized use of vehicle, theft, simple assault and related offenses.
