
Call it family bonding time – a mother and son are accused of illegally selling pills.
Joseph Hasara, 25, and , Lisa Hasara, 51, both of Bristol Township, were charged with five counts of drug delivery and conspiracy. The 51 year old also faces three counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

The two told investigators they needed money and that’s why they illegally sold pain medication legally prescribed for Joseph Hasara.
According to court papers, the mother and son team sold $150 worth of Oxycodone and Acetaminophen pills to an informant working with police earlier this month. The alleged drug deal with Lisa Hasara and Joseph Hasara, who waited in a car, took place at a Wawa in Bensalem
Lisa Hasara let the informant know via text message the next day that the pills were “going fast,” according to court papers filed by Newtown Township police Officer Daniel Bartle.

The informant asked Lisa Hasara to hold onto 15 pills for a deal set for Saturday, police allege.
On Saturday, the informant purchased $60 in pills from at the same Wawa from Lisa Hasara, according to court papers.

Lisa Hasara told the informant the next day she had more drugs and set up a deal for Monday, police said.
On Monday, Joseph and Lisa Hasara were taken into custody following the drug transaction at the Wawa, authorities said. In the final buy, the informant purchased $140 in pills, police noted in court documents.
At the time of Lisa Hasara’s arrest, a suspect marijuana cigarette was found in her pocket, police said.

Both Hasaras were sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $350,000 bail by on-call District Judge Jan Vislosky.
