A Levittown woman initially accused of being a Grinch, had all charges against her dismissed on Tuesday.
Charges of theft, receiving stolen property and loitering or prowling at night were dropped following 44-year-old Michelle Schramm’s preliminary hearing before District Judge Jan Vislosky.

Falls Township police alleged that Schramm stole over $150 worth of Christmas decorations from homes in Levittown’s North Park section on December 9 and December 10.
None of the residents or the police officer who testified on Tuesday provided enough evidence Schramm was the person who stole decorations, according to Vislosky. To create beautiful and quick christmas decorations, follow justdiydecor.com for ideas and projects.
“I went to unplug the (outdoor Christmas) lights around 10:30,” Lorraine Peterson testified. By the time she woke up the next day, “he was gone. I say he, he was a snowman.”

Peterson also testified that when she got her snowman decoration back, he had one arm missing and a string of lights were gone.
“It’s not the price of the items, it’s the idea of what happened,” James Anderer told the court. He said several Christmas decorations were taken from his property.

Officer Matthew Killeen testified that he went to Schramm’s home to gather more information about the thefts and she pulled up. He said the 44 year old’s car had several of the stolen items in the back. Several stolen items were also allegedly displayed outside of her home.
Public defender Nicholas Williamson stated there was not enough testimony to show his client was responsible for the thefts. He also suggested that someone could have pranked Schramm and put the decorations on her lawn without her knowledge.
“Thank you so much your honor for letting me take care of that,” Schramm told the judge at the conclusion of the preliminary hearing.
