A 23-year-old man was sentenced to jail time for his role in a statutory sexual assault incident.
Anthony Tarpeh, who formerly lived in Bristol Township, was sentenced recently to four to 23 months in prison on the single charge. Judge Diane Gibbons gave Tarpeh credit for time served before his sentence.

Tarpeh was arrested by Bristol Township authorities this past fall. He was accused of having sexual relations and smoking marijuana, with a 15-year-old girl. According to police documents, Tarpeh is accused of also supplying the marijuana.
The teen told police that Tarpeh told her he was only 18, but she later learned his true age, court papers say.
