PennDOT is expected to close a lanes of traffic on I-95 in Middletown on Tuesday for a bridge inspection.
The right lane on southbound I-95 between Route 413 Lincoln Highway will be closed fro 9 a.m. until noon. From noon to 3 p.m., the northbound right lane will be closed.

“The inspections, which are weather dependent, are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect state bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and condition of the bridges,” according to a press release.
The transportation department cautions motorist to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspections because slowdowns will occur.
