Police Reportedly Have Trouble Arresting 2 Men Outside Bar


A Bristol Borough man accused of causing a problem at a bar allegedly had some very harsh words for responding officers.

Anthony Blount, 32, was kicked out of the Upper Deck Bar on Durham Road in Bristol Township early Sunday morning for causing a scene. Police were called when Blount tried to kick in the back door of the bar, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Blount appeared to be heavily intoxicated and tried to enter the bar through the back door when police arrived, court papers say

An officer advised the 32 year old to get on his knees and put his hands where they could be seen. Instead, he sat on the hood of a car, according to court papers.

After Blount resisted, three officers were able to take him into custody, police said.

“This is why you cops are getting executed,” Blount allegedly shouted during his arrest, according to court documents. He also reportedly said he hoped an officer’s wife “gets shot in the face.”

A search revealed Blount was in possession of Oxycodone, court papers say.

Ian R. Graham, 35, of Parkside,  was arrested around the same time outside the bar. Police said he resisted arrest and had to be Tasered.

Blount was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and was released on 10 percent of $15,000 bail.

Graham was charged with failure to disperse, resisting arrested and related offenses. He was arraigned and released on 10 percent of $15,000 bail.
