Stalking Charge Withdrawn Against Morrisville Man In Harassment Case


A Morrisville man accused of stalking the 14-year- old girl he was previously convicted of sexual assaulting was before District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. Wednesday morning.

Collin Andrew Sorrentino, 19, had a charge of stalking withdrawn and his summary harassment charge remained. Sorrentino pleaded guilty to the non-traffic harassment citation and his case will not be forwarded to Doylestown for trial.

Authorities accused Sorrentino of leaving several phone message on the cellphone of the 14-year-old Bristol Township teen he was barred from contacting.

Additionally, Sorrentino was accused of mentioning the victim’s boyfriend in one of the voice mails. Court papers are unclear as to what exactly was said in reference to the victim’s boyfriend.

Sorrnetino was sentenced to two to 23 months of jail time on the sexual assault charge plus an additional minimum of two years supervised probation in March of 2014, according to online court documents. He was also ordered to complete mental health treatment and was granted parole status this past May.

Sorrnetino was arrested in the latest case in September.
