A homeless man is accused of bringing a box made to look like a fake bomb or incendiary device into a Levittown district court earlier this week.

Bristol Township police accuse Edward Frank Harris, 60, of walking into District Judge Robert Wagner’s offices on New Falls Road around 1 p.m. Monday with a box made to look like a bomb or incendiary device.

Harris told the courthouse staff to give the box to Wagner before he walked out, police said.
A lighter taped to a cordless phone caused concerned after they were found in the box, according to court papers.
Court documents say a quick-thinking staff member took the box outside and alerted police.

The box was addressed to “Mr. Wagner,” police said.
On Wednesday, Harris is accused of leaving a note at the Bucks County Bank on New Falls Road next to the courthouse. The note said, “sex fiends kill for sex,” court papers state.

Police said they were called at 8:51 a.m. after several bank employees took the note as a threat.
Harris was arrested short after.
Harris was charged with terroristic threats and harassment in the two cases. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County prison unable to post bail.

Court records show Harris pleaded no contest to a 2010 terroristic threats case and spent some time in jail.
