Joseph Cappiello, 30, of Fairless Hills, spoke with police around 7:50 p.m. Sunday after an officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Ford Road for a report of loud music coming from an apartment, according to court papers.

Cappiello gave police a fake name and date of birth, court papers say.
“Another resident of the apartment arrived and provided me with a different name for the defendant,” Officer Eugene Zurybida wrote.
When Zurybida told the 30-year-old he was under arrest and tried to put him in handcuffs, Cappiello pulled away, court papers say.

Zurybida warned Cappiello to comply or he would have to deploy his Taser.

After Zurybida fired the Taser, Cappiello pulled the probes out and shoved the officer backwards, court papers say. Cappiello reportedly then ran into an apartment and slammed the door shut.
Police were eventually able to arrest Cappiello.
The 30-year-old was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, false identification to law enforcement, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Cappiello was arraigned by on-call District Judge Daniel and sent to county lockup on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
