Crossfit Lower Bucks County, located on Bristol Pike in Bristol Borough, hosted its third annual Barbells for Boobs event on Saturday.
According to information provided by the gym, the event raised over $12,000 during the Saturday fund raising competition.

There were a total of 138 teams, with 276 individuals competing and donating. Every $83 raised went to a mammogram for someone who might not be able to afford one on their own or with their insurance.
The competitions, purely for fundraising purposes, consisted of 30 clean and jerks, a 200 meter run, 21 kettle bell swings, and 12 pull ups, followed by two more sets of identical sets.
Last year, the event raised over $10,000, according to information provided by the gym.
