UPDATE: Crash Victim Dies of Injuries
Two Bristol men were seriously injured in a terrifying-looking crash in Levittown Sunday afternoon.
Middletown Township police said the two men were ejected from their vehicle after it left westbound New Falls Road, flipped and slammed into a tree on Quincy Drive around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

A Quincy Drive resident who heard the crash said it sounded like a “freight train”
The two-door car left the New Falls Road and went about 70 feet before stopping, an official said.
Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla said speed appeared to be a factor in the wreck that left the car the men were in mangled.

The two men were rushed to St. Mary Medical Center and remained in serious condition on Sunday afternoon, accident investigator Officer Mark McLeod said.
Police said they spoke with several witnesses and were seeking additional witnesses to the crash.

Firefighters, medics and fire police from several agencies were called to the scene and remained there for hours after the crash.
