The investigation into the crash that killed a New Jersey woman on I-95 earlier this week could cause delays for commuters on Friday morning.
State police said lane restrictions on I-95 in the area Woodhaven Road would be in effect starting around 10 a.m. Friday as troopers return to the scene of Monday’s crash that killed Turnersville, N.J. mother of three Lisa DiMaio, 44.

The investigation into the crash and search for the mysterious late 1990s or early 2000s model sedan that slammed on its brakes and drove off on southbound I-95 in the seconds leading up to the crash continues, officials said.
State police said earlier this week that DiMaio lost control of her 2003 Jeep Liberty after the black sedan pulled in front of her and slammed on its brakes. DiMaio then hit her brakes and swerved before slamming into a guardrail and overturning several times around 3:45 p.m. Monday, state police said.
DiMaio’s Jeep overturned four to five times before coming to rest in the grassy median near the Woodhaven Road exit, state police said.

Firefighters and medics from Bensalem rushed to the scene and freed DiMaio. She was transported to Aria Health’s Torresdale campus and succumbed to her injuries a short time later, state police said.
Witnesses, including Bristol Township firefighter Tom Stanton, stopped and rendered aid to DiMaio following the wreck.

DiMaio’s husband was on the phone with her when the crash happened and remained on the line after the phone was thrown from the Jeep. A state trooper found the phone on the highway and answered several minutes after the accident.
“Please come forward,” Paul DiMaio, Lisa DiMaio’s husband, urged the driver of the black sedan during an interview with the South Jersey Times. “I would hope that they would start to feel a conscience and do what is right.”
