The two cases involved McDuffie and his girlfriend.

McDuffie, who has a previously felony conviction, admitted to having a .38 revolver when he was not legally allowed to posses a firearm.

Bristol Township police responded to an apartment in April when McDuffie’s girlfriend was accidentally shot by him. The weapon was fired and a bullet struck his girlfriend shortly after she was subpoenaed to testify against him in the domestic violence case.

When speaking with detectives, McDuffie said he was showing his girlfriend the .38 revolver when it “accidentally” went off. He added that he hid the  gun in a trashcan on South Kenwood Drive in Levittown, according to court papers.

McDuffie was previously convicted in a 2006 felony case.
