“Tim always denied in any way violating [the woman]. I’m glad the jury saw it that way,” Dress’ defense attorney, Lou Busico, told the Doylestown Intellegencier following the acquittal.
In an affidavit of probable cause, a 25-year-old woman reported to police that she was raped by Dress at a small party hosted by her sister’s boyfriend at the Village of Pennbrook apartment complex on Saturday, March 1. The woman testified at a preliminary hearing that Dress had sex with her even after she said no repeatedly.
The woman claimed Dress told her, “you know you like it,” according to court papers.

In testimony, the woman said she informed her sister what happened hours after the alleged rape and she was taken to Doylestown hospital for examination. Police said a hospital nurse reported the examination revealed thigh bruising, vaginal abrasions and a torn fingernail.
Busico said, according to the newspaper, the accuser had a boyfriend and later ” regretted her decision” to have sex with Dress.
