State Rep John Galloway (D -Bucks) in his continuing effort to meet the needs of the seniors he serves in his district is hosting his annual senior expo Thursday.

Scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. at Westby Hall in Fairless Hills, the community resource and linkage event, runs to 1 p.m. The hall is located at 425 Hood Blvd.

“Age has its benefits,”ย Gallowayย said, “but you need to look for them. This expo will provide the opportunity to find many in one place.”
A number of free health and wellness opportunities will be offered, including blood pressure and hearing screenings, Galloway said.
Flu shots will also be available for those who preregister throughย Gallowayโs constituent service office. Many insurance plans, including most Medicare plans, will pay for the flu shots with no co-pay required, said a release from Galloway’s office.

Representatives from a number of government and nonprofit agencies and local businesses will attend. Residents in need of a SEPTA senior discount pass can sign up for one for free.
Door prizes, giveaways and light refreshments will also be available during the event, Galloway said.
