William Rivera charged with homicide on Sunday.
Bristol Township police announced Sunday afternoon an arrest in connection with the early morning murder of a 60-year-old Trenton man.
William Rivera, 63, of Bristol Township, was charged with criminal homicide, reckless endangerment, and possession of an instrument of crime, police say.

Acting Bristol Township Police Chief Lt. John Godzieba said that police responded to 4401 Fayette Drive for a report of a shooting at 3:28 am Sunday morning.
Arriving officers, found the victim George L. Rodriquez, 59, of Trenton, dead on the living room floor from multiple gun shot wounds, the chief said. At first, police said only one shot hit Rivera.
Godzieba told LevittownNow the 63-year-old was related to the shooting victim early Sunday morning. The two are brother in laws.

Godzeiba said a verbal altercation between the two men is what led to the deadly outcome. Court papers say Rivera got his shotgun and fired two shots at Rodriquez in the living room of the Fayette Drive home. A 7-year-old boy and another person were in the room when the shooting happened.
Rivera was arraigned by Warrington District Court Judge Mark Douple.

Rivera was denied bail at his arraignment and is scheduled to appear in front of Bristol Township District Court Judge Joann Kline on September 9.
