A fire that struck a home in Bristol Township’s Goldenridge section early Sunday morning is quietly under investigation.
Yellow crime scene tape could be seen stretching across the front lawn of the two-story home on Geranium Road in Levittown Sunday afternoon.

The fire, which witnesses said took place inside the dwelling’s second floor, became the focus of an investigation shortly after it was put out, officials told LevittownNow.com early Sunday.
The blaze was put down by fire crews from the Levittown area around sunrise.
Investigators from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s office and detectives from the Bristol Police Department were seen on location Sunday.

At press time, little is known about the fire or why it is being investigated.
Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said early Sunday evening that the investigation is still ongoing as of 5:3o p.m.
