Airline to Offer Service to Palm Beach, Bahamas from Trenton-Mercer

Local residents looking for an inexpensive escape to warm weather this winter need to look no further than the local Trenton-Mercer airport.

According to a press release put out by Frontier Airlines, flights from Trenton to Palm Beach will occur as frequently as every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The fares for the entire promotion, which range from cities such as Denver, Washington D.C., and St. Louis start as low as $39 for a one way ticket.

“Flights to Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach will begin Nov. 21, with fares as low as $59.00 each way for travel through March 1, 2015, if booked on FlyFrontier.com before midnight Saturday,” according to a NJ.com story.

Pending approval of the government in the Bahamas, Frontier plans to start offering flights to that country, according to an article from The Trentonian. Service for this service is expected to begin in November.

Frontier started flying out of the Trenton-Mercer airport in recent years. Many Lower Bucks County residents use the carrier to get about the country.
