Cindy McDonough testified ย that she was dropping off her grandson at his fatherโ€™s Croydon home and ย realized that he left his ย jacket ย in the car. The grandmother ย opened the front door to get it of the vehicle and Angel, a 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier got out.

McCormick at the time was walking his Jack Russell terrier across the street when the two dogs came together barking and sniffing each other police said in court paperwork. The roommate of Angel’s owner saw McCormick and asked what was he doing.

McCormick replied: “This is what I’m doing.” He then pulled out what authorities described as a buck knife, plunged it into the neck of the Staffordshire terrier and “held it there for several seconds,” according to court documents.
