Bristol Twp. Council Signs Off on Paperwork for Fire Truck

At last week’s Bristol Township council meeting, council approved a resolution authorizing the approval for the financing of  Third District Fire Company’s  new Tower 14 fire truck.

Township Manager Bill McCauley explained that signing off on the deal is just a paperwork matter since Bristol Township is the governmental entity the fire company works under and serves.

McCauley was sure to point out there was no financial obligation from the twp. with regards to the  purchase of the  2014 Seagrave Aerialscope.

A video of Tower 14  provides a silent tour of  the new addition to the fire fighting township based company.

Council approved the resolution unanimously.

Third District Fire Chief Ray Finnell said on Wednesday for the moment he’d like to keep the purchase off the radar, so to speak, wanting to reveal information about the new addition at a “special time.”
