Local Grocery Store to Hold Hiring Fair Wednesday

SwansAfter months of planning and working with Falls Township officials, Swann’s Pantry is close to opening, Business Manager for the supermarket Doug Boeher said Tuesday.

Boeher said many of the hurdles the discount grocery store faced have been cleared and as a result they will hold a hiring fair at their new location at 8724 New Falls Road in Levittown on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Store manager Chris Smith will be on hand for the hiring event in order to screen candidates and assess skills for the most suitable positions applicable for a given candidate.

Swans Pantry has been in business since January of 1991 with the first discount grocery store opening in Exton, PA by Francis and Terry Swan.

They have a warehouse and second location in Upper Bucks County.
