Police Investigate Several More Incidents Involving Air Conditioners

Weeks after several thefts involving air conditioners occurred, Middletown police are investigating several more attempted thefts of air conditioners.

Four attempted air conditioner thefts happened last Thursday into Friday, police said.

Here’s what a recent police blotter said:

  • Eyecare Physicians, South Woodbourne Road, reports on Friday, 6/27/14, at approximately 2:44 AM, three air conditioner units were damaged. It is unknown at this time the value of the damage to the units.
  • Five Points Chiropractic Center on South Woodbourne Road reports sometime overnight, 6/26-27/14, unknown actor(s) damaged an air conditioner unit at the business. It is unknown at this time the value of the damage.
  • Dr. Francine Barbetta, on South Woodbourne Road, reports sometime overnight, 6/26-27/14, unknown actor(s) damaged an air conditioner unit at the business. It is unknown at this time the value of the damage.
  • Livengrin Foundation, on South Woodbourne Road, reports sometime overnight, 6/26-27/14, unknown actor(s) damaged an air conditioner unit at the business. It is unknown at this time the value of the damage.

It is unclear as of press time if the most recent incidents are connected to the previous thefts in Middletown and Falls.
