$14,000 in Sunglasses Reported Stolen

Police in Middletown are investigating a theft from the Oxford Valley Mall.

Sometime between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. Monday, 70 pair of Oakley and Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen from the Lenscrafters store in the Oxford Valley Mall.

The sunglasses that were stolen were valued at $14,000.

On Wednesday, police said $943 worth of merchandise were stolen from New York and Company in the mall. No word if the two crimes are connected.

No further information was released by police.
